Born February 27, 1974 in Guntersville, Alabama.
Saved at age 9 at First Baptist Church Guntersville in Guntersville, Alabama.
Moved to Birmingham, Alabama in August 1992 to attend Samford University.
Graduated from Samford University in 1996 with a B.S. in Geography.
Commissioned as an Army Officer in 1996 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Served a 3 year Active Duty tour in Korea and Fort Campbell, Kentucky from 1996-1999.
Married to Jennifer Bratton on June 6, 1998.
Ordained in December 1999 at First Baptist Church Dickson in Dickson, Tennessee.
Received a Masters of Education from Tennessee State University in December 2001 Called to serve as Minister of Students at First Baptist Church, Dickson in May 2002.
Blessed with a daughter, Rebecca Leah Brewer, December 4, 2002.
Licensed to ministry in November 2003 at First Baptist Church, Dickson, Tennessee.
Moved to Wake Forest, North Carolina in August 2004 to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Served as Minister of Youth and Children at Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Durham, North Carolina from October 2004 to May 2007
Blessed with a daughter, Rachael Catherine Brewer, November 16, 2005.
Served as Minister of Youth at Lost Mountain Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Georgia from June 2007 to July 2011.
Graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2008 with a Master of Divinity.
Blessed with a daughter, Hannah Maria Brewer, July 11, 2008.
Deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a chaplain from July 2009 to April 2010.
Currently serving as the Minister of Children and Students at Southside Baptist Church in Decatur, Alabama starting October 2011.
Currently serving as a chaplain in the United States Army Reserve after 15 years of service.
